The Detroit Cannabis Project (DCP) is hosting the Kalamazoo Cannabis Community Event, a gathering aimed at celebrating cannabis and fostering inclusivity within the industry. This event is part of the Cannabis Business Courses for Social Equity collection and will take place on Tuesday, July 16th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kalamazoo Public Library - Central Library, located at 315 South Rose Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49007.

Event Overview

This event promises an evening filled with networking, insightful discussions, and collaborative opportunities. Designed to empower attendees, it provides a platform for voices from diverse backgrounds to be heard and valued. Event Agenda

5:00 PM - 5:30 PM:

  • Networking and Refreshments - Attendees will have the chance to connect with like-minded individuals over delicious refreshments. This initial networking session is designed to foster new relationships and potential partnerships.

5:30 PM - 6:30 PM:

  • Community Listening Session - The heart of the event, this session invites community leaders, residents of the SPK neighborhood, and individuals interested in the cannabis industry to share their experiences and perspectives. 6:30 PM - 7:00 PM:

  • Continued Networking - The evening will conclude with more opportunities for networking, allowing attendees to continue conversations sparked during the listening session.
