Hip-hop pioneer and social activist Hakim Green, celebrated for his work with the iconic rap group Channel Live, is teaming up with Michigan-based cannabis company L-Train to introduce the Mad Izm Cannabis 3-Pack. This curated collection embodies the spirit of Mad Izm, promoting enlightenment, empowerment, and social consciousness.

The Mad Izm Cannabis 3-Pack merges hip-hop culture with cutting-edge cannabis innovation. Hakim Green's illustrious career in the music industry complements L-Train's expertise in crafting high-quality cannabis products. Each 3-pack is carefully selected to deliver a distinct and memorable experience for both cannabis enthusiasts and hip-hop aficionados.

To celebrate the launch, Michigan's cannabis community is invited to join Hakim Green and L-Train at The Clinic Cannabis Company in the 8 Mile District on July 10th, 2024, for the 7/10 Holiday. The event will feature a pop-up performance, a meet-and-greet session, and a panel discussion with Hakim Green and other celebrities. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase the 3-Pack bundles, which include exclusive merchandise and limited-edition vinyl of Channel Live's classic album, Station Identification.

Purchasers of the Mad Izm Cannabis 3-Pack will also receive a free download of songs from Hakim Green's new album, Mad Izm: 'Who Wanted This Smoke?' Each track is paired with a strain personally curated by Green. For instance, the song "What's Mad Izm" featuring KRS-One and General Steele of Smif-N-Wessun, produced by Breakbeat Lou, is matched with the Bruce Banner/Peaches N Cream strain. "Smoke Mad Izm," featuring Treach of Naughty By Nature, DoItAll from Lords of the Underground, and Keith Murray, produced by Domingo, pairs with the Sour Diesel/Skunk strain. Finally, "Papi's Place," featuring Thirstin Howl The 3rd and produced by Will Tell, is accompanied by the Baked Blueberry strain.

The 7/10 Holiday, observed on July 10th, is named after the cultural codename for cannabis concentrates, also known as OIL (710 flipped upside down). This day is recognized as a celebration of all things related to cannabis oil.

"The release of the Mad Izm 3-Pack in collaboration with L-Train is a celebration of the union between Hip Hop and Cannabis. Mad Izm is the undeniable smoke anthem, so it's only fitting that Hip Hop stakes its claim in this thriving industry," said Hakim Green.

Hakim Green, a dedicated advocate for social change, infuses his work with his commitment to empowerment and community development. Beyond his music career, Green is the founder of the 24 Hours Of Peace Annual Festival in Newark, NJ. This initiative, in partnership with the City of Newark, aims to combat violence and promote peace, love, unity, and safe fun.

"We are excited to partner with Hakim Green for the launch of the Mad Izm Cannabis 3-Pack," stated Mario Eaton, CEO of L-Train. "Hakim's classic, Mad Izm, is a cornerstone of cannabis culture, and we are honored to introduce Mad Izm cannabis as a brand."
